Half Valencian and half Andalusian, the founder of the firm Hannibal Laguna was born in Caracas and grew up with his sister observing the work of their parents in one of the most prominent children's fashion brands of the 70s. At the age of 15 he moved to Europe and studied tailoring in Milan, specializing in volumetric construction and the technique of modeling on a mannequin.

The firm HANNIBAL LAGUNA was born in 1987 as a new fashion insignia within a small family textile business with an artisan vocation. That same year his first collection "Concorde" was selected to represent Spain in the United States during the celebration of the international exhibition "Europe in USA".

In 1988, the firm presented its first show with great success at the legendary Colony Theater in Miami, receiving the applause of the specialized press and the recognition of American critics. This was the impulse that led the designer and his sister Isabel Angulo, Co-founder and director of the firm, to present and produce collections year after year, so that the designs and hallmarks of the house could become dressed by clients from all over the world.

With the new century, the renowned and recognizable style of the firm crosses borders and is applied in collections of accessories, shoes, bags, optics and perfumes, achieving that its unmistakable seal is projected in all creations, turning them into unique, admired and recognized pieces. like real jewels.
